Off to a rocky start, but hopefully, smooth sailing from here.

My first official week as a small business owner somehow went both nothing like and exactly how I'd imagined it would, with the majority of my time spent making finicky little tweaks and fixes to things I never would have even thought of not even a month ago, testing and retesting products, websites, and postal services, and battling waves of self-doubt as each victory brought with it a new wave of problems to solve. From unimpressive but nonetheless expensive printed cards to hidden fees locking me out of popular marketplaces, Bridge and Bracken's first week on the market was nowhere near as joyous and exciting as I'd hoped it would be: more like jittery and exhausting.

But! The comfort zone is no place for a business to grow, and already I've learned so much about what it takes to run a business, and my own suitability for the task. I'm busier than ever before and loving every moment of it, and this small shop with its single-digit view count and even smaller product number is nonetheless one of my proudest achievements of 2025.

If you've somehow managed to stumble onto the site and have gifted me a few precious moments of your life to browse my shop and read my thoughts, then from the bottom of my heart, I thank you. Even that small offer of your support means the world as I navigate these completely uncharted waters, and I hope to see you again soon.
